I like a book that educates as well as entertains but still will read something on the lighter side on occaision....


	"A Place Called Freedom " Author: Ken Follett	I haven't read a book by him I haven't liked.... this was a historical , ummm, drama !! Takes place in Scotland (Edinburgh) , London & Virginia.... in the 1700's....

I heard that it was the topic of an Oprah show but was cancelled due to the heated discussion,must have been bad. The characters are quite interesting , messed up, all cumilates in krziness...

	The Painted House Author: John Grisham ISBN: 044023722X	Wow ! So different than all of his "lawyer "stories" . The setting is the south in the 30's on a cotton farm as told by a 7 yr old boy....very good!

	Lie Down with Lions (Signet) Author: Ken Follett ISBN: 0451163508	Wow ! Most of the story takes place in Afganistan during the war with the Russians.... very interesting & hard to put down!

	Ship Fever 8/25/07 Author: Andrea Barrett	Short fiction stories gathered from the world of science. Interweaves Historical and fictional characters. I enjoyed this book . Was delightfully different.....

	Murder In The House Author: Margaret Truman ISBN: 0449001725	Whew ~ this was a fast read. I liked it, was different ( for me ) a political thriller......

	Angels & Demons Author: Dan Brown ISBN: 0743275063	I liked this MORE than the Da Vinci Code !

	Blackwood Farm Author: Anne Rice ISBN: 0345443683	These last two Anne Rice books I read like there was no tomorrow ! I read them out of order, should've read Blood Canticle 1st !

	Blood Canticle Author: Anne Rice ISBN: 037541200X	This book was so engrossing I read it in less than a week !

	Dangerous Fortune Author: Ken Follett ISBN: 0440217490	I enjoyed this book. Took place in 1866 kinda' of a " soap opera" like saga of a familys trials and triumphs. Colorful characters for sure. I enjoy his style.

	Emotional Intelligence Author: Daniel Coleman	I clean this office and met the habitant ( Bob Holmes Omsbudman @ the U ) I told him he had some interesting books and I mentioned this one and he loaned it to me & told me if I wanted more to take & leave him a note ! Kewl !

	Engravings By Hogarth Author: Sean Shesgreen	I like his work both paintings and engravings.

	Paranoia Author: Joseph Finder	This book was GREAT ! Didn't know which way it was gonna' turn, the ending was real good, surprising ! I highly recommend this book !

	The Testament Author: John Grisham ISBN: 0440234743	Oh, this one was one of my fave's by him ! After I read it I wanted to watch the movie but there isn't a movie but it would be a great one if they did !

	The Third Twin Author: Ken Follett ISBN: 0449227421	This is the first book I read by him. I liked it. Good plot ( different) Well written....

	Valentine Author: Tom Savage ISBN: 0316771643	Sometimes it was predictable and other times it was UNpredictable ! I did enjoy it. The ending was a big surprise, I liked that. Needed a light read after all the "non-fiction I'm having to do for class ! LOL Jan. 23rd

	White Oleander Author: Janet Fitch ISBN: 0316284955	This was really , really good ! Her vision is surreal, her touch light and her focus is strong. Her language is very poetic ! It is intimate and epic !!! Read it , you'll like it !
